Structurally and metaphorically videos have the potential to capture the experience of being lost, then found, from moment to moment, and over the course of time. This movement is analogous to the activity of digging through my image archive where I often find myself circling back to the same bunch of images. Like the collages and prints, the videos combine personal language of signs and symbols to create layered stories that explore my fascination with communal New Age rituals. Contemporary mysticism functions as agent of change, growth and the evolution of society yet serves to remind us that despite optimism, there is something implacably sad about our world.
